Job Title: Entry to Mid-Level Automotive Production Supervisor
Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and driven Entry-Level Automotive Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Bowling Green, KY. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build leadership experience in a fast-paced automotive production environment. The supervisor will support daily operations, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and lead a team of hourly employees to achieve production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising daily production operations on the manufacturing floor to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets
- Lead and support a team of hourly employees, providing direction, training, and performance feedback
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and quality
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Track and report production metrics such as output, downtime, and scrap
- Support problem-solving efforts related to production, quality, and equipment issues
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Participate in shift meetings and communicate production goals and expectations clearly
- Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Assist with attendance tracking, scheduling, and basic administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, or leadership roles (internships/co-ops applicable)
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing leadership
- Basic understanding of production processes and safety practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or co-op experience in an automotive or manufacturing setting
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts
- Experience working in a team lead or project-based leadership role

Pay: $57,652.35 - $69,430.79 per year
