Join NDSU Dining and help feed the herd! Located in the heart of NDSU’s campus, enjoy state-of-the art facilities and a fun, lively environment. Our Catering cooks help create the culinary experience by preparing and serving food for NDSU students, faculty, staff and guests. In addition, this position will assure food safety protocols are met in the food production and service areas, as well as maintaining equipment used at workstations. In this position, you’re guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10 paid holidays, as well vacation and sick time accruals.. Description & Details:
Performs all necessary duties to cook food for customers. Executes all necessary tasks to assure a high degree of cleanliness, quality and sanitation in food production and food service areas. Maintains all equipment used at workstations in an acceptable and sanitary condition.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:30am to 2pm | Schedule will vary slightly depending on academic breaks and seasonal events | Weekend rotation as needed
Advertised Salary:
$18.50 /hr depending on experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years cooking experience in a food service operation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food Safety Certified
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
