Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible day-to-day operations of assigned functional areas of the warehouse operation. The warehouse supervisor ensures that procedures are followed, such as: proper identification of inbound product; practicing safe storage and handling practices; maintaining accurate records; shipping product consistent with NDS policies. The warehouse supervisor enforces a 5’s environment, leading and executing general housekeeping activities as required to keep a safe and clean work environment. Responsible for the accountability, mentoring, and development of subordinate warehouse employees, in the areas of warehouse operations, company culture, brand promise, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership for all aspects of the day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Trains and directs warehouse associates in daily tasks within the warehouse.
- Ensures all warehouse associates adhere to NDS safety policies.
- Helps with developing, implementing and maintaining of warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provides immediate feedback to the warehouse manager on all warehouse activities.
- Oversees receiving and restocking processes to maintain inventory accuracy and replenishment.
- Coordinates with customer service the execution of extraordinary customer requests.
- Maintains a safe and clean warehouse.
- Coordinates warehouse associates’ schedules to ensure adequate coverage is provided.
- Working supervisor; covers warehouse associate assignments, as needed.
Leads the Warehouse Associates to process accurately all Sales Orders.
· Reviews warehouse head count and tracks progress against budget goals and targets.
· Monitor service performance and take action to correct shipping and accuracy problems.
Supervises the proper receipt of Inventory, RMA’s and finished goods POs.
· In conjunction with Human Resources and the Distribution Manager, conducts performance reviews of department staff.
· Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety; maintains clean, neat and orderly work area.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $52,407.08 - $63,113.90 per year
