POSITION: Dining Services Assistant
LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, benefited, 9-month or 11-month positions available

JOB SUMMARY: Assist with all aspects of dining operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving, as well as cleaning, sanitation, and cashiering, while maintaining the highest standards of service and customer experience. Perform primary assigned duties while remaining flexible to cross-train and assist with other responsibilities as needed.

SALARY: $17.36 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in dining services or restaurant operations
- Knowledge of food service cleanliness, quality standards, and sanitation protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Flexibility to assist in multiple roles as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Food safety certification
- 3 or more years of experience in food service
- Previous experience operating a cash register
