JOB SUMMARY: The Dining Services Assistant will assist with all aspects of dining operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving, as well as cleaning, sanitation, and cashiering, while maintaining the highest standards of service and customer experience. This position will perform primary assigned duties while remaining flexible to cross-train and assist with other responsibilities as needed.
The following positions are available:
11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (core responsibilities - Cook)
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (core responsibilities - Cook)
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (core responsibilities - Kitchen/Float)

HOURLY RATE: $17.36/hour , commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in dining services or restaurant operations
- Knowledge of basic food handling, hygiene, and sanitation principles
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Flexibility to assist in multiple roles as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts, depending on the operational need
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Food safety certification or must complete within the first year of employment
- 3 or more years of experience in food service
- Previous experience operating a cash register
