Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and a solutions-oriented attitude
• Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
• Conduct night audits when required, verifying daily transactions and balancing accounts
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
• Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing incoming calls across multiple lines
• Assist with guest relations efforts to foster positive reviews and repeat visits
• Support overall front desk operations during peak hours or staff shortages

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse guests effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and hotel management software platforms
• Knowledge of resort operations and guest services best practices
• Ability to handle night audit procedures accurately and efficiently when needed
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
• Experience in guest relations and conflict resolution within a hospitality setting
