Finance is seeking a Director of Program Integrity in office at the Capitol building in Bismarck, ND.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to establish and lead our enterprise Program Integrity team. This newly created role will play a critical role in safeguarding public resources, strengthening internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of ethical conduct throughout one of the largest and most complex public service organizations in the state.

What you will do as the Director of Program Integrity, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for agency-wide investigations, and compliance activities.
You will:
- Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise Program Integrity function.
- Direct investigations involving allegations of fraud, misconduct, misuse of resources, and policy violations.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Recommend improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability.
- Partner with executive leadership, legal counsel, finance, HR, IT, and program leaders to strengthen governance practices.
- Monitor corrective actions resulting from audits, investigations, and external reviews.
- Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership and oversight bodies.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of auditors, investigators, analysts, and compliance professionals.
