Travel OR RN – New York | 13 Weeks | Day Shift
We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in New York.
Assignment Details- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 8 Hour Days
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekends/Holidays: Required
- Call Requirement: Yes
- On-Call Response Time: 30 Minutes
- Radius Rule: 100 Mile Radius Rule Applies
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Active New York State RN License
- Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required
- Meditech Experience Required
- BLS Certification Required
- ACLS Preferred
- Must successfully complete and pass the OR final exam as a condition of employment
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced OR setting
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to recognize and address patient and staff safety concerns
- Experience handling clinical equipment and maintaining aseptic environments
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to function effectively under pressure
- Dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
- May be required to assume Charge RN responsibilities
