Overview
We are seeking a Quality oriented Magnetic Particle Inspection Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing and quality assurance on various products, ensuring they meet industry standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and non-destructive testing on Aerospace and Defense components and assemblies to ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards.
- Collect and analyze data from tests to identify trends, defects, or areas for improvement.
- Interpret technical drawings to guide testing procedures and assembly processes.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of tests conducted, including any deviations from expected outcomes.
- Train junior technicians on testing procedures, equipment operation, and quality assurance practices.
Qualifications
- Certification in NDT Level I or Level II (ASNT, NAS 410, or equivalent)
- Prior experience in industrial or field environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in manufacturing processes.
- Solid understanding of quality control and quality assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools for assembly and testing.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience with data collection methods related to product testing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
