About Us
Appalachian Community Services provides Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Substance Use, and Developmental Disability services to individuals, families, and communities within the seven western counties of North Carolina. We provide a wide range of walk-in, psychiatric, substance abuse, and crisis services to adults and children.
About the Role
The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight, coordination, and supervision of the multidisciplinary Mobile Crisis team, which includes clinicians, and qualified professionals. This position ensures that high-quality crisis intervention services are delivered consistently and that the team functions efficiently, safely, and in alignment with MORES program standards.
- Team Management: The Team Lead manages the MORES team and supervises staff members. They also ensure that team members work together effectively to deliver services.
- Crisis Response: The Team Lead responds to crises and supports team members as needed. They may also conduct assessments of individuals in crisis and develop crisis management plans.
- Program Coordination: The Team Lead coordinates with other service providers, such as hospitals, clinics, and social service agencies, to ensure that youth receive the appropriate services and referrals.
- Quality Assurance: The Team Lead ensures that the MORES program operates effectively and efficiently by monitoring performance metrics, conducting program evaluations, and implementing necessary improvements.

Compensation
This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
- Compensation: $57,918 - $74,372
Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.
