The Pickleball Graduate Assistant Coach is a part-time position responsible for all phases of a club pickleball program including recruiting, retention, player training and development and other duties as assigned by the VP of Intercollegiate Athletics. The position will begin on August 1, 2026 and includes tuition remission, meal plan, on-campus housing, and a $3,200 stipend.
Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze performance and instruct athletes in practice and matches. Organized and responsible for all clerical duties as assigned in a timely manner. Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community. Complete other duties as assigned by the Athletic Department.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. Applicants must obtain acceptance in a WV Wesleyan College graduate program. Successful coaching at the playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is required. Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends). Able to lift up to at least 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license is required.
