Role Description
This full-time, on-site Shift Supervisor role is based in Concord, NC. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff during assigned shifts, ensuring operational and procedural compliance, and maintaining the safety and security of facilities. Daily responsibilities include overseeing juvenile programs, managing schedules, addressing emergencies, and ensuring proper implementation of policies and procedures. Additionally, the Shift Supervisor will provide guidance, training, and support to their team to achieve program and safety objectives effectively.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Supervisory skills, including team management, delegation, and staff development
- Knowledge of policy implementation and procedural compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and stakeholders
- Experience in crisis management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
- Ability to maintain a safe and secure environment and respond effectively to emergencies
- Familiarity with juvenile justice practices and procedures is advantageous but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certifications or post-secondary education in criminal justice, social work, or a related field is preferred
- Dependability and flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
