Experienced Leather Upholsterer/Trimmer – Custom Furniture Manufacturing

Carolina Custom Leather is a family-owned custom furniture manufacturing facility located in Conover, NC. We are seeking an experienced Leather Upholsterer/Trimmer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with strong upholstery skills who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with leather furniture, upholstery materials, and trimming techniques to create high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Upholster and trim custom leather furniture pieces.
• Cut, fit, and attach leather and upholstery materials with precision.
• Perform detailed finishing work to ensure quality craftsmanship.
• Inspect completed pieces to meet company quality standards.
• Follow production specifications and maintain consistency across products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of upholstery/trimming experience required
• Previous experience working with leather furniture is strongly preferred
• Experience with upholstery tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, dependable, and motivated.
