Job Summary:
The Coastal Beauty Academy of North Carolina is seeking an experienced and passionate Esthetician Course Instructor to educate and train students in the field of esthetics. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of skincare, facials, waxing, makeup application, and industry regulations. This role involves delivering engaging lectures, overseeing hands-on practice, and preparing students for licensure and successful careers in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum in accordance with state regulations and school guidelines.
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures covering skincare techniques, product knowledge, sanitation, client communication, and business practices.
- Supervise and guide students through hands-on training in facials, waxing, makeup application, and other esthetic services.
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and industry best practices.
- Stay updated with current trends, advancements, and regulations in esthetics.
- Provide mentorship and career guidance to students.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Esthetician in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in esthetics.
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, facial techniques, waxing, and makeup application.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring estheticians.
- Ability to use instructional technology and online learning tools (if applicable).
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Classroom and hands-on lab setting.
- Flexible schedule options (daytime, evening, or weekend classes).
- Occasional administrative tasks related to curriculum planning and student assessments.
