Purchasing Associate

Pay Range: $18.50 - $22.58

Assists with the coordination of internal inventory control for the company supply stock. Acts as a liaison between departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies.

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent experience
• General Office experience
  
  

Skills and Abilities:

• Basic computer skills
• Some office clerical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

Requires a valid driver’s license

Tasks Performed:

• 35% Fill orders from the warehouse.
• 25% Answer e-mail and phone inquires.
• 20% Unload trucks and check in freight.
• 5% Deliver supplies to departments.
• 10% Maintain organized files.
• 5% Other duties as assigned.
