Such an inspirational teacher must possess excellent knowledge of the subjects they are to teach. At the core of the successful candidate’s instructional methodology is the ability to differentiate instruction so students of various levels can successfully access learning. We seek an individual with the skills and determination to make a significant difference in the lives of our students within the guiding framework of the school’s mission: empowering young women to think critically, act ethically, and embrace their world with confidence.

  • Proficiency with developmentally-appropriate instructional strategies for teaching upper school-aged children
  • Curriculum development knowledge
  • A proven record of collaborative teaching
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Possess the flexibility and willingness to teach interdisciplinary courses
  • Embrace a team-oriented academic environment where courses are taught with an emphasis on student engagement
  • Exhibit a proficiency and demonstrated experience with subject relevant technologies that support instruction and student exploration.
  • Be an exceptional self starter with a high degree of self management and the ability to take initiative while being in continuous communication and collaboration with department members and administration
