What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician QP position at Nazareth Child & Family Connection?
NCFC is seeking a full time Behavior Tech QP to work in our Day Treatment Program. The Day Treatment Program serves elementary and middle school age clients in a classroom setting on our campus and in local schools.
Duties include:
- Works with the team to develop an individualized Person Centered Plan.
- Works with the team to implement the treatment plan and assist clients with the management of various behavior issues related to mental health symptoms and teach appropriate social skills in a classroom setting.
- Continually observes and responds appropriately to clients during academic, recreational and leisure activities.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner in accordance with accreditation and MCO guidelines.
- Must be able to complete a physical restraint when necessary.
- May need to assist with transportation.
- May be asked to work in another location at times to ensure appropriate classroom ratios.
Qualified Candidates must have a four year degree in human services field and two years experience with population served or a four year non-human services degree and four years of experience with the population served. Must have a valid NC Driver's License.
NCFC is currently offering a $500 signing bonus.
