What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Specialist position at Nazareth Child & Family Connection?
Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to provide daily trauma informed care to teens in a residential setting. Seeking part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 8 hours shifts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Can accommodate those who only want to work every second weekend.
Daily Responsibilities include:
- caring for the safety, security and welfare of residents.
- monitoring mental health and behavior and providing guidance to all residents.
- coordinating and overseeing all daily activities in the home
- ensuring residents are following all program rules and regulations.
- ensuring program follows all state license rules and regulations.
- assist residents in developing coping techniques
- provide daily transportation to appointments and after school activities
- assist in developing treatment planning goals and helping residents achieve their goals.
- Complete daily documentation in a timely manner.
- May need to physically restrain clients in the event of self-harm or harm to others.
Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma and a valid Driver's License. Some college and/or experience is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits. EOE.
$500 sign on bonus
