Multi Facility Registered Dietician

FT Hours-32 hours/week, $40/hr

A qualified, competent, and skilled Registered Dietitian will help oversee the food and nutrition services in our Dennet Rehab & Mountain City facilities.

Policy Interpretation and Implementation

• A qualified Dietitian or other clinically qualified nutrition professional will help oversee food and nutrition services provided to the residents.
• A Food and Nutrition Services Manager will oversee the production, storage, and delivery of food. The Dietitian will work closely with the Food and Nutrition Services Manager and clinical staff.
• The Dietitian or nutrition professional will be a full time consultant or an employee, who will oversee the current requirements of our facilities.
  
  
  

These requirements are based on:

• assessments and care plans of resident nutritional needs; and
• the overall facility assessment of the number, acuity and diagnoses of the resident population.
• The Dietitian will have the qualifications, competency and skills to carry out the functions of the food and nutrition services.
• The qualifications of the Dietitian will include:
• A bachelor’s (or masters) degree from a regionally accredited college or university with successful completion of a nationally accredited program in nutrition or dietetics.
• Completion of at least 900 hours of dietetics practice supervised by a registered dietitian or nutrition professional.
• Licensure or certification as a registered dietitian or nutrition professional.
• The Dietitian may oversee and delegate some of the above responsibilities to the director of food and nutrition services.
