Serve as a senior technical contributor and subject matter expert, working under minimal supervision to deliver scalable, high-performance Pega solutions that support decisioning, automation, and digital engagement capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level Pega solutions using Pega Platform and Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
- Build and customize Pega components including data pages, data sets, data flows, activities, UI rules, reports, and job schedulers.
- Design and implement data ingestion, ETL, extraction, archival, and transformation strategies.
- Create and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, services, and connectors between Pega and external systems.
- Integrate digital data from internal and external sources to support analytics and decisioning.
- Perform advanced debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis using Pega tools.
- Develop reusable, secure, and scalable Pega rules following guardrails and best practices.
- Provide day-to-day operational and production support, including incident and change management.
- Support DevOps and release management activities including packaging and deployment.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in application or software development.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (Must).
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (Desired).
- Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (Desired).
- Strong experience with Pega 8.x, Customer Decision Hub (CDH), and Pega Cloud (Infinity 24.x).
- Hands-on experience with data ingestion, data modeling, ETL, and SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) within Pega.
- Experience with REST/SOAP services, integrations, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
