Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing the effectiveness of training, exercises, and real world incident response operations to determine if corrective action or policy change is required; 2) Conducting emergency management assessments to identify discrepancies and develop corrective actions; 3) Advising management and staff on emergency management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations; 4) Overseeing Emergency Operation Center (EOC) operations to ensure effectiveness and execution of EOC processes and procedures in accordance with policy; and 5) Analyzing and/or evaluating methods and techniques used in emergency response to present recommendations and conclusions for improvement in response capabilities.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0000/emergency-management-series-0089/
