GS 11: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management to a wide variety of ILS and supply support projects. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Assisting in the development of new supply practices and procedures to meet ILS project goals and milestones; 2) Coordinating actions related to the development, execution, and oversight of supply support for assigned systems and equipment; 3) Receive guidance regarding supply and logistics support to analyze support levels to determine that the planned logistics support meets operational goals within approved funding levels. GS 12: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of the advanced concepts, principles, and practices of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management to a wide variety of complex ILS and supply support projects. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing or modifying new supply practices and procedures to meet ILS project goals and milestones; 2) Coordinating and integrating actions related to the development, execution, and oversight of supply support for assigned systems and equipment; 3) Analyzing support levels to determine that the planned logistics support meets operational goals within approved funding levels; 4) Providing technical advice and guidance regarding supply and logistics support for assigned program; and 5) Negotiating and finalizing supply support programs for logistics functions in support of Naval Nuclear Reactor supply to support ships, submarines, nuclear training platforms, and naval shipyards.
