Position Summary:
The Director of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive team, leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in scaling the finance function to support NavSav's rapid growth and acquisition activity. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with strategic insight, operational discipline, and a passion for building scalable processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning across all business units.
· Manage the monthly and quarterly financial review processes, providing timely and actionable analysis to senior leadership.
· Deliver accurate and insightful variance analysis, trend reporting, and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
· Partner with the CFO and business leaders to assess acquisition opportunities, perform financial modeling and due diligence, and support post-acquisition integration and tracking.
· Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for executive management, investors, and banking partners, including monthly results, quarterly reviews, and annual strategic plans.
· Develop a deep understanding of business drivers, identifying risks and opportunities while translating financial data into business insights.
· Drive automation and standardization across financial processes, enhancing system utilization (NetSuite, Datarails, Power BI, etc.) to improve accuracy and efficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Operations, M&A, HR, and Technology) to ensure alignment between financial plans and strategic objectives.
· Support the CFO with presentations, bank reporting packages, and board-level materials.
· Build and mentor a growing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, or corporate development.
· Experience in insurance, financial services, or multi-entity operations strongly preferred.
· Proven ability to design and scale finance processes in a fast-paced, acquisitive organization.
· Strong technical expertise with ERP and FP&A tools (e.g., NetSuite, Datarails, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills (PowerPivot, VBA).
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
· Highly analytical and business-minded, capable of balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
· Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and a track record of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
