Position Title: Sterile Supply Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Contract | Travel
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Rotating weekends and holidays as required)
Pay Range:
Local: $26.60/hr
Travel: $30.00/hr
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Sterile Supply Technician for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities
Decontaminate, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays following hospital and infection control standards.
Operate sterilization equipment such as steam autoclaves, Steris, and Sterrad systems.
Assemble simple and complex surgical sets accurately for clinical use.
Conduct quality checks and monitor sterilization cycles for accuracy and reliability.
Maintain precise documentation for all sterilization and instrument tracking activities.
Respond promptly to urgent and emergency requests for sterile instruments.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and departmental safety protocols.
Qualifications
Completion of a nationally accredited Central Service Technician certification exam OR at least one (1) year of experience as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Strong knowledge of sterilization principles, aseptic technique, and surgical instrumentation.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
