Pay Rate: $22 – $26/hr (W2)
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Sterile Supply Technician for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Assemble and inspect both complex and simple surgical sets to ensure completeness and functionality.
- Operate sterilization and decontamination equipment, including steam sterilizers, Steris, and Sterrad systems.
- Monitor and record sterilization cycles and decontamination processes in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and safety standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following aseptic and infection control procedures.
- Respond promptly to urgent or emergent requests from clinical and surgical teams.
- Assist in equipment maintenance and inventory control of sterile supplies.
Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed a nationally accredited Central Service Technician exam and hold certification as a Central Service Technician, OR have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility.
