Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with Breast Imaging experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating sonographic equipment, identifying normal and abnormal findings, and communicating results effectively with radiologists and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently
Operate and maintain sonographic equipment
Conduct breast, abdominal, and OB/GYN ultrasound procedures
Obtain and review relevant patient medical history
Accurately identify and differentiate normal and pathological findings
Communicate significant findings to radiologists
Maintain patient schedules and workflow efficiently
Perform daily equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of examination results
Follow all safety, infection control, and departmental protocols
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program recognized by CHEA/USDOE
RDMS Certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN required
Minimum one year of ultrasound experience
Breast Imaging experience required
Strong knowledge of sonographic anatomy and pathology
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and make clinical judgments during examinations
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
