Travel Pay Rate: $2,700 – $2,900 Weekly
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Radiology Technologist (Radiology Tech) for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic examinations
- Set up and operate imaging equipment as required
- Select appropriate imaging parameters and equipment for procedures
- Review patient history and clinical information to support accurate imaging
- Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimal diagnostic images
- Explain procedures to patients and address questions to ensure cooperation and reduce anxiety
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients during imaging procedures
- Assist physicians with specialized procedures as required
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper labeling and identification
- Maintain accurate radiology records and documentation
- Coordinate workflow to ensure efficiency and timely completion of exams
- Maintain equipment, request supplies, and coordinate repairs when needed
- Comply with hospital policies, radiation safety standards, infection control, and emergency procedures
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times
- Deliver excellent customer service aligned with organizational values
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification (or registry eligible) required
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
