- Day: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM

Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care setting. This role involves delivering direct patient care, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient-centered care and maintaining excellence in clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and regulations
- Plan and coordinate daily care activities and assignments
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Transcribe physician orders and ensure proper charting
- Administer medications safely and accurately, verifying patient identity
- Perform nursing procedures including catheterization, tube feeding, suctioning, dressing changes, and wound care
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Collect and process specimens (urine, blood, sputum) as required
- Ensure dietary compliance for food brought from outside sources
- Provide education and support to residents and their families
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights at all times
- Participate in patient rounds, facility surveys, and onboarding of new residents
- Foster a collaborative team environment and demonstrate leadership
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Current BLS/CPR and AED certification
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
- Knowledge of age-specific care requirements in long-term care settings
- Ability to lead, organize, and implement care plans effectively
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to interact professionally with residents, families, and staff
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet job-related sensory requirements
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a positive attitude
