Employment Type: Contract (Travel Assignment)
Shift: Mixed Days & Evenings
Travel Pay: $2,700 – $2,900 weekly
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel CT Technologist (Radiology) for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures with precision, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment
- Select appropriate imaging protocols based on clinical indications
- Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimal imaging results
- Review and verify imaging orders for accuracy and completeness
- Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients throughout imaging procedures
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during contrast administration and patient monitoring when required
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of radiologic records and imaging data
- Evaluate image quality and adjust protocols as needed to meet diagnostic standards
- Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as required
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and institutional policies
- Participate in continuing education and maintain ARRT and state licensure requirements
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiography program
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technology license required
- ARRT CT certification or current CT registry status required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist OR
- At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience (within the last 5 years)
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
