Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
Location - Santa Rosa, CA
Duration - 13 Weeks
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support Surgical Services in a busy acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of instrument decontamination, sterilization processes, tray assembly, and infection prevention practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Prepare and distribute procedure trays and case carts
- Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilization standards
- Support operating room and procedural departments with instrument needs
- Maintain inventory levels and organize sterile storage areas
- Float to other sterile processing areas as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Acute Care Hospital Experience
- Experience with a wide variety of surgical instrumentation
- Familiarity with Epic-supported healthcare environments
