Sterile Processing Production Technician

Schedule: 40 hours/week | 8-hour shifts | 5 days/week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Production Technician to support daily sterile processing operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role focuses on managing loaner and consignment instrument trays, ensuring proper sterilization processes, and maintaining accurate documentation to support quality and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on sterile processing experience along with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure workflow efficiency and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming loaner and consignment trays for accuracy and completeness
- Validate tray contents before and after sterilization processes
- Track trays throughout sterilization and return cycles in coordination with internal teams
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain schedules
- Support daily production workflow and prioritize tasks to meet operational deadlines
- Identify and escalate discrepancies in tray contents, documentation, or processing timelines
- Maintain organized workspaces to enhance department efficiency
- Accurately document tray tracking and sterilization data in relevant systems
- Support quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in accuracy, turnaround time, and communication
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience, including handling loaner and consignment trays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Familiarity with instrument tracking systems and documentation processes
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude
Education & Certification Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- CRCST or CSPDT certification (required)
