Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator to oversee daily operations within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). This role is responsible for managing loaner and consignment instrument trays, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining compliance, and supporting coordination between vendors, clinical teams, and SPD staff.
Responsibilities:
Loaner & Consignment Tray Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all loaner and consignment trays
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and integrity of trays before and after sterilization
- Coordinate with vendors, clinical teams, and internal staff for timely processing
- Track and document tray movement throughout the sterilization cycle
Production & Workflow Oversight:
- Oversee daily production flow in collaboration with department leadership
- Prioritize workload to meet operational demands and deadlines
- Identify and resolve workflow issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Provide guidance and support to sterile processing technicians
Communication & Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between vendors, clinical teams, and SPD staff
- Maintain clear and professional communication regarding tray status and scheduling
- Foster strong working relationships across teams
Data Management & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate data entry in instrument tracking systems
- Maintain proper documentation of sterilization processes and tray movement
- Generate reports on productivity, trends, and performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of sterile processing experience required
- Experience with loaner and consignment tray management required
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency with instrument tracking systems and reporting tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Certifications:
- CRCST or CSPDT certification required
