Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide healthcare support within a school setting. This role includes delivering one-on-one care to a student, assisting in the school nurse’s office, and floating between school sites as needed.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and committed to supporting student health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care to an assigned student
- Support daily operations in the school nurse’s office
- Float between multiple school sites as required
- Monitor student health status and report any changes
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students
Required Qualifications
- Active California LVN license (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
