Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient chronic dialysis unit. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, with a focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuity of care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patients throughout hemodialysis treatments and respond to clinical changes
- Manage and maintain vascular access, identifying and addressing complications
- Administer dialysis-related medications in accordance with established protocols
- Accurately document patient care, treatment progress, and outcomes in the EMR system
- Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, home care, and treatment adherence
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control standards and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Prior dialysis or nephrology experience preferred
- Current BLS/BCLS certification (required)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting
