Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology
Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Setting: Inpatient Acute Care – Oncology Unit
Schedule
- Night Shift
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday requirement: 3 out of 6 holidays
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an inpatient oncology setting. The RN will care for patients with conditions such as leukemia and lymphoma, ensuring comprehensive treatment through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Develop and manage individualized care plans
- Administer chemotherapy and related oncology treatments
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Promote evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Active RN License – New Jersey or Compact
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification (ONS)
- Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Telemetry certification
- Experience in inpatient hospital oncology setting
