Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Evenings/Nights)
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Holidays: Rotating
Travel Pay: Up to $2,700/Week
Job Description
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry travel assignment. The RN will provide quality patient care, monitor telemetry patients, administer medications, and work closely with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care using the nursing process.
Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and IV therapy.
Provide post-operative care including orthopedic patients.
Manage chest tubes and other specialized treatments.
Educate patients and families on treatment and care plans.
Document patient care in the EMR system.
Respond to emergency situations when required.
Manage patient pain and provide compassionate care.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active RN License – Massachusetts.
BLS Certification required.
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module.
Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam.
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience.
Phlebotomy and IV skills required.
