Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room | Travel Contract
Location: Falmouth, MA
Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 Weeks
Facility Type: Acute Care / Emergency Department
Shift & Schedule:
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Compensation:
Travel Rate: $2,803.50/week (Negotiable based on experience)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining clinical excellence and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver individualized care
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Serve as a charge nurse and support staff orientation and training
Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including infection control and safety standards
Perform clinical procedures including IV starts, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator care
Attend staff meetings and mandatory training programs
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
At least 1 year of ER travel experience
Active RN license (state-specific)
BLS & ACLS certifications required
Strong clinical and communication skills
Preferred:
TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications
De-escalation training
