Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU RN)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel float pool assignment in Atlanta, GA. This position will support multiple PCU/IMCU units with a primary focus on cardiac patient populations in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- Day shift schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- Float pool role across all PCU/IMCU units
- May also support telemetry patients with lower acuity levels
- Patient ratio: 1:3–4
- EMR System: Epic
Clinical Experience Required:
- STEMI and NSTEMI patient care
- Chest pain and cardiac monitoring
- Cardiothoracic surgery recovery patients
- Cardiac drip management including:
- Milrinone
- Dobutamine
- Pressors
- Telemetry interpretation and cardiac care experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Active RN license
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong cardiac and telemetry background required
