CT Technologist

Location: Falmouth, MA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with radiation protection standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong CT imaging skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Certification Required

• Massachusetts State Radiologic License Required

• Current BLS Certification Required

• Graduate of an AMA Accredited Radiography Program

• CT Certification OR ARRT Registered in CT Required

• Minimum 1 Year Recent CT Experience (within the last 5 years) OR 3 Years Radiologic Technologist Experience

• Ability to Read, Write, and Communicate in English

• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols

• Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment safely and efficiently

• Select appropriate imaging techniques and exposure factors

• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy

• Explain procedures and provide patient education to reduce anxiety

• Monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures

• Assist physicians and nurses during imaging procedures when necessary

• Administer or assist with contrast media administration as authorized

• Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation

• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles

• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality assurance checks

• Comply with infection control policies and hospital procedures

• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
