Work Details:
- Weekend Requirement: Required
- Floating: Required based on unit needs
Clinical Experience Required:
- ENT Surgery: Tracheostomy (trachs), laryngectomy
- Plastics: Incision & Drainage (I&D), Wound VAC
- General Surgery: Bowel obstructions, mastectomy, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, gunshot wounds, overdose, hernia repair
- Surgical Oncology: Pancreatitis
- Colorectal: Colectomy, colostomy
Equipment & Systems:
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Charting System: EPIC (minimum 1 year required)
- Equipment: Wound VAC, PCA pumps, PICC lines, drains, ostomy care
Requirements:
- Certifications: BLS, Active SC RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience required
