Role Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across a dynamic, multi-specialty intensive care unit. The role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with critically ill patients.
Shift Details
- Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
- Floating required based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care nursing in ICU settings including Neuro, Medical, Surgical/Trauma, and CTICU
- Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions such as stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, and post-operative complications
- Operate specialized ICU equipment and support advanced interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other units as required (excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless holding patients)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
- Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
- Active RN license in New York (verified via NURSYS)
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Valid driver’s license with matching address
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Must include RTO at time of submission
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge Nurse experience
- Cardiac/heart experience strongly preferred
