Registered Nurse – General Surgery / Medical Surgical Unit
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced General Surgery and Medical Surgical unit. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative acute care environment while caring for a diverse surgical and medical patient population.
Unit Overview
- 39-bed General Surgery unit with all-private rooms
- Specialized care for:
- General Surgery patients
- ENT procedure patients
- Medical overflow patients
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong clinical foundation in Medical Surgical Nursing
Position Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Deliver culturally competent and age-specific nursing care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and confidentiality
- Follow ANA Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act standards
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing required
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt within a diverse healthcare setting
