Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate:

• Travel: Up to $2,471.50 per week
• Local: Up to $1,987.50 per week

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and clinically skilled Registered Dietitian to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized medical nutrition therapy, assess nutritional needs, and educate patients on the critical link between diet and health. Experience managing complex nutritional requirements for chronic conditions, particularly dialysis or renal patients, is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nutritional Assessment: Evaluate patients accurately using laboratory, physical, and social data to determine nutritional status.
• Specialized Counseling: Deliver nutrition education focused on chronic disease management and food/drug interactions.
• Patient Advocacy: Gather dietary histories from patients and families and incorporate preferences into clinical care plans.
• Clinical Collaboration: Consult with physicians on diet modifications and document interventions in medical records.
• Menu Management: Adjust patient menus and dietary instructions to meet medical requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition (Master’s preferred).
• Licensure & Certification:
  • Registered Dietitian (CDR)
  • New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist certification (required at hire)
  • Primary source verification of credentials
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (2 years preferred)
  • Outpatient setting experience required
  • Clinical experience with dialysis/renal patients required

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong ability to interpret clinical data for nutrition planning
• Excellent communication for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
• High accuracy in clinical documentation and electronic medical records
• Proficiency in managing complex dietary restrictions and therapeutic diets
