Shift: Day Shift – 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 Hours)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join a leading healthcare facility’s Dietary Services team. This role involves assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and providing education to support overall health, recovery, and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families
- Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in care team meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field (Required)
- Completion of an ACEND-accredited Supervised Practice Program (Required)
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (Required)
- New York State Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (Required)
