Position Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst, NY

- Local Pay: $52.00 – $62.00 per hour
- Travel Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 40 Hours per Week
- 5 Days/Week
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to support a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department within a leading acute care facility. This role is responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general radiographic imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort throughout examinations
- Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment in accordance with quality standards
- Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiography)
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, acute care environment
Education
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited program (military training accepted)
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License – Required
- BLS Certification – Preferred
Additional Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on radiography experience
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
