Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer | Travel Contract
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Hours: 37.5–40 Hours Per Week
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and accurately.
Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Follow radiation safety protocols and imaging department standards.
Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment decisions.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced overnight imaging environment.
Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.
Assist with imaging equipment maintenance and departmental workflow.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience.
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program.
Current ARRT certification and registration required.
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety practices.
Ability to work full-time night shifts.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
