Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst – Project Lead to support large-scale, complex initiatives within a healthcare-focused environment. This role involves leading QA efforts, developing testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute quality assurance and testing activities across projects
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and negative testing
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and recommend solutions
- Design and execute automated test scripts where applicable
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) support and coordination
- Maintain defect tracking systems and provide status reporting on issues and risks
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to improve system performance and quality
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, governance policies, and best practices
- Perform walkthroughs, reviews, and inspections to ensure quality compliance
- Create and maintain QA documentation and reporting artifacts
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
- Minimum 3 years of experience building and executing test cases in test systems
- Minimum 2 years of experience testing IBM Curam applications
- Strong experience in defect tracking, reporting, and communication with development teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
- Experience in healthcare or Medicaid environments
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience working in both Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile environments
- Relevant technical or project management certifications
