Schedule
- Shift: Evening/Night (4:00 PM – 12:15 AM)
- Hours: 5x8-hour shifts per week
- Weekends: Rotating
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support a fast-paced hospital recovery room unit. This role involves assisting nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Assist nursing staff with procedures and recovery room support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic systems
- Support patient transport and overall unit workflow
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nursing Attendant or similar role
- Completion of a Patient Care Associate/Technician training program
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hospital or recovery room setting
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
