- Monday & Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both front and back-office operations in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient care, administrative duties, and clinical procedures while working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and support check-in and rooming processes
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture for laboratory testing
- Administer vaccines and assist with clinical procedures as directed
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars
- Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
- Provide both front and back-office support as needed
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure clinical areas are fully stocked
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
- 2–3 years of experience preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- EMR experience required
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
