Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient care, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic workflow. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare patients for visits, including recording vital signs and medical histories
- Perform basic clinical duties such as phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection (as applicable)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms; maintain medical equipment
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by providers
- Support front-office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent hands-on experience
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with EMR systems
