Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a fast-paced Walk-In Clinic setting. This role serves as a key clinical liaison between patients, providers, and administrative staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and collaborates effectively with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine clinical duties, including obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Triage incoming patient calls, assess urgency, and communicate effectively with providers.
- Coordinate prescription refills and manage insurance prior authorizations.
- Serve as the primary point of communication between patients, clinical staff, and providers.
- Provide guidance and support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and clinic schedulers.
- Follow direction from providers, RNs, and clinical leadership to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with clinic standards.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program (Certificate or Diploma).
Licensure & Certification
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience Requirements
- Open to entry-level candidates (less than 1 year of experience welcome).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
